Last week I had taken on an external client who had come into chesterfield college for a facial.
This was a 45 minute treatment which was very relaxing for my client and her step daughter who had also come in for the same treatment.
My client thoroughly enjoyed the treatment that she came in for and was happy too book in again for another treatment.
it gave me great pleasure to relax this client and let her enjoy her luxurious time at chesterfield college.

Today, 16/03/2016, I have been working on another students at college; Paige. I have been practicing my manicure skills and have been assessed on how professional I have been. this included things such as, client care the end result of the treatment, the therapists presentation, etc. i have really learnt from my test and have realized that i really should explain what the treatment is going to be, and advising my clients more. This will really help me and make my treatments even more enjoyable. I have learnt a great deal from this lesson.

Cover letter

I have been working on my cover letter. i have now completed it and found it really enjoyable to complete. i think i have really put in a lot of effort to make this cover letter revalue exactly what i am like which would make employers want to meet me.

French manicure!

The 9th march 2016, a client coming in for a french polish on manicure and dark colour on pedicure, with the add on, warm oil and exfoliation on the hands and exfoliation on the feet.
I was really looking forward to doing these treatments and by the end of them I enjoyed even more than I thought I would. My client was extremely relaxed throughout and couldn't believe the standard of my polishing. I was filled with confidence and this client helped me to be as confident as i am now with my polishing skills.

On the 7th of march i carried out a manicure with a paraffin wax add on and a dark coloured finish. my client really enjoyed having her treatments and found the experience really fun. while completing this treat meant i felt really comfortable working on the hands and working with polish. This has made my decision to be a nail therapist. I am now 100% confident on what i want my career goal to be.

Today, Wednesday, 02/03/16, I have carried out two waxing treatments, a half leg wax and also an underarm. both treatments were carried out to satisfactory standard. my client was very pleased with the end results.

I have totally fell in love with chalkboard nails' blog. all of the different nail designs are really unique and have never seen anything like this before. 
The different nail designs relate to something and mean something. this makes me really uplifted. Thank you chalkboard nails
